3.2 Guest File Transfer Policy

CHPC Maintains a "Guest Transfer" service for users. The purpose of this service is to allow CHPC's users to share files with colleagues who don't have a uNID and can't afford the delay of waiting to get a uNID.

The following restrictions apply to the guest transfer service:

• Accounts are only valid for a limited time. Interactive logins are not permitted, but users can use an SCP client to transfer data to and from the guest transfer service.

• The service is not meant to replace normal home directories.

• The maximum disk space available is 5 TB.

To obtain a guest transfer account, go to https://guest-transfer.chpc.utah.edu/ and fill out the form. Only users with valid CHPC accounts can create guest transfer accounts.
